Standard or accessory? was created by RBY
Have picked up an A5 with frame number KZT30A016497. Was sold new in New Zealand but I'm thinking it must be a US spec bike. Does anyone else have the security tube on lower left frame member or the folding out handle in front of the left rear shock - sure makes getting it on to the centre stand easier and not sure it is original??

The fold out handle is from a BMW K75 motorcycle.  It's to help lift the K75 on its center stand.

Thanks globemaster, nice to know where it came from and someone has done a pretty good job of welding it on the frame. Now why didn't Kawasaki do that!

Yes I have since found thread from 5yrs ago, "Center stand helping frame handle" #22416. Can't see it in my parts catalogue but it is on the USA/Canada spec bikes A1 - A3 but not the A4. Part no. 32109-1012
