My understanding is that date codes are wwyy where ww is week and yy is year.

Recently bought a front wheel assembly from eBay. Came with tire attached.

Date code looks strange. Any ideas? Obviously not going to use it, just a rainy day curiosity question.

Found out this means the tire is brand new, and for sale!
