Good work on your 928 upholstery, Kawboy. Very impressive. It just goes to show - you don’t know what you can do until you try!

That's a really good idea Kawboy! Thanks!
I'd talked to them to try to figure out whether the KZ1000 seat would work, but they weren't sure and (totally reasonably) wouldn't commit to saying one way or the other.
I know they have a ride-in service where they'll make a custom seat for you on the spot, which is probably what I'll end up doing, but I was maybe hoping to avoid the 800 miles each way just for that. Then again, any reason to ride is a good reason

I would just ship them the seat and ask them to do it and ship back. That's a really good idea Kawboy! Thanks!

"but 1000 miles to find out it doesn't seems a bit far"
But at least you got a good ride in?
