Well....that solves that problem ! $ort of....$$$$$$$
Was actually considering a linear screw-jack type. None-the-less, awesome over engineering on BMW's part. Go hydraulic or go home !
However - I think it's too bulky, for this application.
With a D.G. header, there is ample room on the left side of the frame, but I doubt it would fit with a stock exhaust.
One of these is more compact, affordable and simpler. Just need to choose one with the an adequate stroke and load rating. Built in limit switches makes wiring easy as this style has only a 2 wire cable. Supply power through a "reversing" switch - it couldn't be simpler.
Put one of these on the deflector of a J.D. 47" PTO snow-blower. With a momentary reversing switch the deflector can be set to any angle. The reversing-switch for a center-stand would need to be "latched" to select full up or full down.
This one is off my snow-blower (over-kill) - $79.00 cdn, 6" stroke - 270 lbs. - 4.6 max amps. Keep in mind - it's not dead lifting the entire weight of the bike. It's only lifting a portion of the weight, using the center-stand as a fulcrum/lever.
I'm not that interested in this as a project at this time, but it seems very feasible and is an economic way of doing this.

Had no idea these are already in use! But massive! How much do they weigh? My idea was having a gear powered with a small electric motor, that screw jack type mentioned by scotch.

Now I see you added photos of work in progress. Had no idea it wasn't just a joke! But at the end - no video or it will not count! And unless there is a full stock exhaust version - it want count at all!!!

NOT a work in progress stan! Just curious; so pulled 2 pins to remove it from my snow-blower and wired it in place just give a visual idea......... so someone else can do their own engineering !
No video, either..........that'll be extra !

I bet that will be work D0NE when you bust your knee again! Are you going to just give up on the bike - I don't think so! Well, you can always buy a lift, you guy lucky to have a space for it...
Seriously, since you like tinkering and don't care much about keeping it stock, why not.
