Ok, not the end of the world, but.....
I need to source a 1979 A1 US brake light lens screw.
Sure, I could go to hardware store and jam something in there but that's not my style.
Anyone with sources and/or ideas?
Tx

According to Partzilla, the upper and lower screws are different part #'s The lower screw is used on about 30 different models. The upper screw is specific to 4 KZ1300 models. The upper screw is Kawasaki part # 220E0445A
The lower screw is Kawasaki part # 220R0460
Might be worth a call to the Kawasaki dealer. You never know.
I asked my Kawasaki dealer for the nylon cam chain tensioning sprocket and got 2 35 years after the fact

It is metric thread with Phillips head. M4 thread if i remember correctly, a longer screw can be cut to size. You should be able to find a distributor in US with metric size screws.

Thank you all!
Found a suitable replacement at local hardware store,
This 79 is so far from stock I don't mind if it's not 'oem'...
all is good!
