I have a newly acquired KZ1300, it's an 81 A3 model (Canadian) with the more "rounded" tank, black in color I believe. Anyways, the inside of it was hammered, poorly repaired with a KREEM kit and now tons of rusty flakes, wasn't done properly. When I removed the petcock and sending unit (it was stuck), I probably removed at least a pound of old liner material that was pliable, almost like rubber, just stretched and pulled and a ton of it came out. There is still more left in it though, so for this thing to be repaired, I will have to remove the remaining liner with MEK, then Evapo-Rust it properly, then see what I have. A real PITA to repair a tank that's been butchered like this one. So, I've got the carbs rebuilt and got it running well, but NO TANK to test ride on! I'll take anything that is rust free, let me know what you have, thanks! John 469-826-9014
