Fair Value for '82 Air Box WITHOUT Tool Tray was created by rdurost
I'm swapping mine out for pod filters. Yes, I am willing to deal with mixture issues.
The bike only has 5600 miles on it. The airbox appears to be in perfect condition, apart from three things:
1) The Tool Tray/filter chamber cover is missing.
2) The rubber on the metal-core gasket that goes between the upper and lower halves is perished, although the metal framework is fine.
3) The three rubber connectors on the airbox side of the carbs are starting to fall apart. Two are otherwise complete, one has a missing tension spring.
Ordinarily I'd just throw this up on eBay, but I'm trying to help out a fellow enthusiast and sell it to him direct.
Not looking to retire on the proceeds, I just would like to know what's considered fair.

I'm in north-central Oregon. I will post pictures when I can, but the weather here is terrible and I'm quite busy.
There's an identical one on eBay right now, until then. See my next post.

There's an eBay listing from the UK for the identical unit.
It's listed as "Kawasaki Z1300 Z 1300 Airbox Air Box Filter Unit" from twowheelspares.
With shipping, they're asking about $200, but I'd still like to know what they go for in the US. I also have a brand new UniFilter to include.

Thanks, I actually only want the top section and shipping from Oregon makes little sense if they are available here in UK.
