I have just seen that There are two , OEM rear brake light switches on ebay,com [America ] , might be useful for someone . 283866460762. If this is against Forum posting rules , would a Moderator kindly remove , thanks , clive .

Well spotted................expensive but getting very hard to find now, especailly brand new.
The only real alternative is the M10 Banjo Bolt Hydraulic Type, which still works well and doesnt look too out of place !

I fitted a pattern brake light switch about 2 years ago and no issues so far

Can you please share where you found a Pattern Rear Brake Switch for a Z1300, as to date nobody has managed to see or find one anywhere as it is a unique switch to the 1300 and not used on other models ?
