Thought I'd close this thread with an update.
www.foreignspeedoinc.com did a GREAT job! I sent two speedo's in for repair, my resto tech states they both look GREAT and better yet work GREAT!
So with a sample size of 2, I give this shop 2 thumbs up.
..and am prepping to send my 88 Honda Accord speedo to them for refurb.
