My only fear is that when I die my wife sells my bike for what I have told her I spent on it.

Hi
Does anyone have or know where I can get a new or good used condition radiator reserve / reservoir bottle for a 1980 KZ1300A2. The part number is 43078-1007. All the sites I have looked at haven’t got any in stock.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Everyone should be aware that after 30+ years of heat- the plastic used for these bottles will get very brittle. Had one fall apart in my hand. There's no way I'd pay that kind of money for something "that" unknown ! "Someone " should start looking for alternatives. I've been keeping my eyes open for such a replacement and have a couple of ideas if and when mine lets go. I'm on #2 !

You took words outta my mouth scotch. I am already scanning the material universe for workable ideas.

I didn’t realise they were like hen’s teeth. I wonder if something like 3D printing would work. I might have a look into this as I don’t know much about it

Shurely to God there's another current motorcycle out there or ATV or ... with a rad coolant bottle that would fit? Father's Day is coming up. Ask your wife for one and give her the old one for comparison. You just know they are looking for an excuse to go shopping. We need to capitalize on this and get them to buy us what we really want. More motorcycle parts !!
