I'm having issues with my starter engaging. What I understand it's the starter clutch plate is the issue. According to the kawasaki manual I need a couple of special tool. A "magneto puller"& "rotor puller".Can some recommend a motion pro tool or equivalent brand to help me get the job done? I went on Ebay to try to find one but not sure on the size, thanks.

I did this project on my A-4 last spring and used the following.

A Sears Craftsman chain wrench and rag around to magneto rotor. A universal fit and the rag protects the rotor from being scored. This of course is if you don't have the Kawasaki special tool to do the task.

For the puller, I used a "Bike Master" universal rotor puller. With the Damper bolt removed, insert the correct dia. and pitch side of the universal tool. Manual indicates this is a LH thread. The tool cost me about $18.00.

Regards.
