Hello everyone.
I'm from Scotland, I live in near Edinburgh. I have a 1979 Z1300, been working on it for about a year. mechanically it was in pretty good shape, but the electrics gave me nightmares. However, it's mostly sorted out now and I can actually ride it. It still needs painted as it looks like an old rat, but I will leave that till the winter time.

Were you planing to do the paint work yourself ? or were you farming it out ?

Last week I picked up some fresh paintwork (for another old bike): I forgot how stunning new paint looks and how it transforms a bike: got me thinking about also doing my Z13 over winter.
