I introduce myself:
I am a fan of classic motorcycles.
I own different brands and models that made history in their day.
Regarding Kawasaki, I own a '78 Z650, a '77 Z1000 and I just expanded the collection with an '80 Z1300.
My reason for being in this forum.
Greetings from Barcelona, Spain.

Welcome.
You have a nice collection of Kawasakis.
It is interesting that you have the four-pipe exhaust/ muffler system of the Z900 type on your Z1000. I like that. And your 650 looks like it has all original parts.
What is your opinion of the 1300?  Does it need any repairs or improvements?

I bought the 650 about 40 km from my house, its former owner brought it rolling and convinced me, I had to change tires, transmission kit, fluids, brake pads and spark plugs, I haven't even carbureted it, only the starter clutch fails .
The 1000 already came with 4 exhausts, it was exhibited at the Barcelona International Motor Show in 1977, in those years Spain did not import Japanese motorcycles, I bought it from its second owner 150 km from home, I only changed spark plugs, battery, fluids and filters.
The 1300 is the only one I have bought without being able to try or see it, the result has been a disaster, I have a lot of work to bring it back to life.
It has water in the oil, broken pump seal, tank rotted by rust, no air filter box, poor electrical installation.
The motor turns.

This ought to be fun to watch. Love the fuse bypass wires. Never seen a tank rotted out to that extent. Wow !!
