Ian,

Thanks for the offer mate that would be useful.

Looking at it all again, I guess it is the ONLY thing it can be for as there is nowhere else it would fit. Either that or its a kit to fit other models too which may have use for it ?

Assuming this an aftermarket kit, they don't always match what the manufacturer supplied.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationIan could be right about that - this seller has the gaskets for the bottom of the tank and says the O-ring starts out round.

Ian is 100% correct !

I now have the parts at hand & can confirm the larger o ring of the 2 in the kit fits perfectly into the OVAL seat which goes between the tap & the tank (usually an oval ring).

Thanks Ian.

It's usually that particular o-ring that seals the selector that goes bad. I've been able to restore old petcocks to good working condition by just replacing that one o-ring. I make sure to apply a little bit of grease on that ring when putting it back in too so the abrasion from regular use doesn't affect it quite as much.

Might help to buff out that area it contacts to smooth it out and improve it's longevity too :).
