Hello everyone, nice to be here.
Many years ago,2006, I imported a KZ1300 B2 from the US.
It was in a terrible shape. Been standing in the sun in Texas for some years.
I started to work with it but after a couple of month another bike ended up in my garage, a Rickman Kawasaki with a -73 900 engine.
After restoring the Rickman I suddenly lost all interest and the bikes was just standing there in the garage.
Sold the Rickman after a couple of years but kept the 1300.
Now I am retired from work and have time to pick up from where I left it and hope I can finish the job this time ;)

Welcome to KZ1300.com Vonfingal,
We're glad you chose to sign up here. I'm sure you'll find us eager to share our knowledge and experience. Just ask!
Of course we're into visual gratification - We need pics.
In case you were wondering, the reason why you couldn't see your post immediately is because I've got the software set to require approval by one of the mods before any new member's first two posts are published. Once we've seen that you are not interested in spamming the site you will be able to post at will.
Once again Welcome to the site.

Welcome! What part of Sweden are you from? Still my favorite country I've traveled in. Good luck with the KZ1300!

Welcome from the Canadian branch. Looking forward to seeing posts on your venture through your rebuild.

Just in case you're not aware, the service manuals are electronically available on the Main Page bottom right corner. Lots of advice available here when you need it. Great bunch of guys to work with.

Enjoy!!

Welcome vonfingal: from the UK contingent.
Be good to see your progress, and great that another big zed is being brought back to life.
All the best with your restoration.

Hey Vongingal

welcome from Switzerland, there used to be a Swedish Club for Z1300 that, according to what I know, recently dropped its activity, however there are still Swedish guys up there with a good taste for bikes (include yourself, please) as well as for Beer.

Cheers to the north.
