Hi guys I need some help please.Ive had the carbs off for clean and refurbishment and now having trouble getting them back on .Ive put the black plastic housing onto the carbs and the whole thing doesn't seem to fit through .If I take the plastic housing off and push the carbs into their engine rubbers I cant then fit the back housing on.Any ideas?

Loosen the 6 bolts that hold the carbs to the angle support, assemble, then tighten those bolts.

Lube the oval rubbers lightly from the carbs side. Push the carbs as far as possible into the rubbers. Then slide the plastic housing in from the left side of the bike while simultaneously pressing the carb pack downwards. This will give you more space to jiggle the housing in place. Move the cables out of the way during in feed.
Once the housing is located properly, move it towards the carbs and make sure that the oval rubbers seat poperly. The undersides tend to be problematic, thick wire hook may help in positioning the lips. Before tightening the screws, make sure that your seal between the two air box parts is properly in place.

Clarification: Push the carbs as far as possible into ENGINE rubbers.
