Hello,
I have an 84 voyager, not running right now, and an 88 that I ride all the time. I gave out of gas the other day for the first time. I need to clarify that, I had gas but it quit running. I was able to coast into a gas station and five gallons almost filled it up. That means I still have almost two gallons. I think I read somewhere that you couldn't let the tank get too low or the fuel pressure wouldn't pump. I think that happened, no fuel pressure. Has anyone out there experienced that? I'm just glad that it was downhill to the gas station.
I'm glad this forum was started. I learned quite a bit on the other one, enough to get my bikes in great shape.

I'm thinking that your 88 is injected, right? Never heard that you couldn't run it down all the way. I have an injected 85. It runs but is still a project so I've never explored the lower fuel limits.
