Hi gents,

I'm thinking of upgrading the front brake set up on my z1300. Does any one know if the set up from a ZRX 1100/1200 will fit with minor mods. Or has anyone carried out a similar upgrade and what calipers and discs did you use.

Regards

Martin

I have done this quite a few times. I usually use 1 calipers and the original front discs, but have also fitted new 310mm fully floating discs from a Suzuki GSXR1100. Both the discs and the calipers require the fabrication/machining of adaptors. I buy the Chinese made discs from ebay (very reasonable prices and excellent quality)and usually get the calipers on ebay too where someone is parting out a bike.
