83 DFI ZZ1300
S/N ZGT30A-000095
E/N KZ130AE018778
Im in Australia and just purchased this majestic beast.

Could some one tell me what model bike it is ie A1/2/3/4/5 etc and where it was from originally?

Also I am trying to locate a good downloadable wiring diagram that would cover this model, I have looked in the manuals on this site and they dont seem to cover the 83 DFI model ???? have I got this wrong?

Thanks for your help in advance.

P.S. ive moved over from the darkside!!!! i still have two 78 CBXs in my shed lol

83 was the last year of the carb models, don't think they made a DFI model in 83. This may help you to sort out what year you have: -

Hi Yaegunp, thanks for your reply and thanks for the welcome.

I have double checked and it is definitely a 83 and it is definitely a DFI it could be the first of the DFI as its Dec. 83

Cheers

Hi,
Judging by the frame numbers you have one of the earliest fuel injected Zeds, they were manufactured from late-83 onwards and the model years are 1984-1989. The injected bikes were never sold in US, so your best source for info and parts is Europe.
Congrats, Lauri

Crusaders, you need to look at the KZ1300 supplement for the info regarding the DFI system. It also has the wiring diagram for that model. You can find the manual on the Home page bottom right corner. The supplement covers all of the "other stuff" that the KZ has over the KZ1300 model.
Hope this helps.
