It's been a while since I joined, but I'm always looking for deals on a 1300. I found a '80 B2 Touring model for a pretty reasonable price. I have a question.

How difficult its it to convert the b2 back to an A2 style? I believe removing the front fairing and replacing the headlight, signals, etc would work on the front end, but what about the rear bodywork? Would I be easily able to retro-fit an A1 tail, fender and seat?

I'm in the same boat you are. I've wanted a 1300 for YEARS, and only now might be getting close to owning one (maybe. The stars refuse to align lately). I've been keeping an eye out, but the bike I'm using to help with the funds refuses to sell. So, yeah, I'm kind of rooting for you.

Yes L-H, I feel your pain! I've been on the hunt for years too. It looks like this one is a no-go as well. It's likely to need too much to be worth it for me. I'll be rootin' for you too! Steady On!

I have other bikes to ride and enjoy, so I don't really have anything to complain about. I've always got an eye open for the right opportunity on a kz1300 though.
