I found a new old stock Voyager fan swith on Ebay (27010-1026) it was $100.00 and i talked the guy down to $75. The fan was turning on when the temp needle was almost near the "H" mark and now the fan turns on when the temp needle is just to the right of middle. The peace of mind is totally worth $75.

That is a great write up. A great option. By the time I bought the 1/2" drive drill bit and a drill with a 1/2" chuck and a 13mm tap....If people have access to the right tools it's the best option. Those fan switches are about only about $ 4 around here.
