How do you make pics show up in main chat area like the ones above?

You need to "add a file" (which is your picture file) at the bottom of the post, then put your cursor in the post where you want the pic to show up then click the "insert" button next to the file you want to add at that point in the post. you'll see the file name show up in the post beside your cursor. When you "submit" the post, the system will convert the file (which is the pic) to the picture.
