RECENTLY PICKED UP A 1980 KZ-1300 which was sitting for over a year. One carb at least over-fueling so not running on all 6. Any traits known to awaken stuck carbs without resorting to dealer$$$??? New plugs going in tonight and center two jugs seem pretty damp. Dropped oil and found excess fuel in basement......flushed and new filter in place. Hesitant to crank her up....

Go into "buildblogs" tab at the top of the page and have a read through Scotch's carbs topic. Scotch has put a lot of effort into teaching us how to overhaul the carbs properly. That should get you to the point where you can do your own for a reasonable cost.
