Hi Val,

Enjoy your holiday, we just got 6 inches of SNOW to central Finland!! So biking is not that good.
Keep me posted on the igniter.
We have decided to manufacture 10 more units since the components are there, but that will probably be the last batch since the old type components and chips are not manufactured anymore and conversion to SMT technology is too expensive for small series like ours.

Hi Lauri,

I have one of your modules for the 81 ignition as a spare and I am very thankful you went through the trouble of making a reproduction.

I see you have also made some drive shaft boots for the swing arm. Are these a limited production also?

Do you have any plans to reproduce the rubber boots the seal the carburetors to the air box? Those are another very difficult part to find.

Regards

Hi,

The drive shaft boots I am getting in small batches in the future also since the form exists already. I have no plans to reproduce the air box boots, that would require the tooling cost and it is just too expensive.
I try to keep the parts available as a part of the hobby and have time for restauration and riding too.
Weather is warming slowly in Finland but it still is a bit chilly, my first ride of the year took place with ice still on the lakes.
Cheers,
