Hi My Name is Tom AKA Doc because I work on and Fix anything Computers, Cars, Motorcycles, Electronics, I also Play Guitar and Bass in Various Bands.

I gotta a project been working on Slowly trying to convert my KZ-1300 B2 Touring into more like a bagger keeping it original as not to actually make it to where you cant just put the original parts back on it and you have the touring model again.

That being said I need to find out what seats and Wind Shields I can use off other KZ models that will mount to the bike without changing anything. It kinda looks like the KZ1300 A models will from 79-83 but not sure.

Is there any of you KZ1300 Club Members out there whom have mounted other seats or windshields from other models on a B2 Touring Bike that fits well?

Thanks and Have a Blessed Day

I've put an A model seat on mine. You need to take a couple of the damping rubbers off the rear of the seat because they interfere with the B2 rear seat mount or luggage mount - I can't remember which.

I swap mine between A2 and B2 now and again

Oh Cool that's what i thought but just wanted to make sure. They looked like they might work but never had a chance to compare them with anything, I was looking at the Double Bucket Saddlemen Seats look pretty good. Have you ever tried 1 of those or a voyager seat or are they completely different?

Thanks
Doc
