Hi,

The problem of the swing arm boot is solved. I am able to offer a direct replacement part.
It matches the original dimensions and is molded from Nitrile Butyl Rubber. Molding means that there are no glued seams or potential
leak possibilities. The rubber used is very resistant to oils, fuel and road salts.
Because the part is new, it is also flexible and very easy to install compared to the original.
I have them on sale via eBay but you can also order direct from me for 50 USD+15 USD for shipping and handling.

Best regs, Lauri

Hi,
I actually mounted one today on the -82 project I have going now. The original clamps were also right for the boot, I just had to change the screws to full thread to get them tight enough. The original boot is thicker than the replacement.

Cheers, lauri

Well done, Lauri. I think a lot of us will have reason to be thankful that you have undertaken the re-manufacture of these boots.
Can I ask if you might put some photos of your bikes on this website, please?
Regards
