i am looking for fuel pressure regulators from a ZN1300 Voyager to tear apart to see if it's possible to make repairs, and even if it's possible to make a slightly adjustable version to fine tune the fuel injection system on the ZN. Even bad regulators will still tell me what I need to know one I dissect it to see what's inside. Actually, a bad one would be preferable so I can see what failed and maybe a possible fix for them.

I'm also looking for a "vacuum switch valve", or as it is sometimes called, a "separator". It gathers the vapors from the crankcase by way of the cam/valve cover, as well as the vapors from the gas tank, and sends them to the intake runner. Again, a bad one would be preferable to see what failed. But, I will take anything!

I would also like to get a bad DFI control unit, too. Would like to see if it's possible to repair them. By comparing the inputs and outputs between a good one and a bad one, or several bad ones, I hope to figure out what failed and how to repair them.

I would pay shipping on these items if you want to get rid of them. Thanks!

Adjustable regulators on eBay, and other sources, don't have provision for the 2psi increase in pressure with a vacuum drop when accelerating. All they have is an adjustable constant pressure. But, thanks for the suggestion.

What I would like to be able to do is develop one that can be adjusted to exactly the desired initial 34psi when idling and steady running, and then jump to 36psi when the throttle is cracked open and vacuum drops. Hence, the need to examine the springs inside to see if the unit can be modified to make them adjustable. Also, it might give some insight into whether or not there might be a simple fix for those that aren't working for some reason. For example, when left sitting for a LONG time, the varnish buildup from old, dried up fuel might restrict the pressure bypass from closing enough to allow pressure to build up. I'm hoping to find out if maybe just a good, long soaking in full-strength Seafoam might clear it out.

Knowing exactly what's inside can open all kinds of doors, sometimes. And, when I find out, I will post pics of the works!
