While going through my new bike project (a 1980 A2, I think), I found a couple things I'm going to need.

-A fuse box. PO decided to SOLDER a piece of copper tubing into the main fuse.
-The two small brackets for under the headlight (the "rough" up and down adjustment). The bolts too, if I can get them.
-The tool tray/airbox top. Yeah, this is probably rare as hen's teeth. Worth a try.
-Front brake light switch. The one that slots into the handlebar lever. The PO tore mine out completely and replaced it with what I'm assuming is a pressure switch right into the line.

That's all I can see for now.

L-H:

Most of these obsolete items you'll need to be patient on and watch eBay.

Fuse boxes and tool trays come up about every month to every other month. At least that is what I have noticed over the last couple of years. Some can be very reasonably priced, others try to obtain their retirement funds off of one item. (Stay way from those guys)

The headlight UP/Down brackets sometimes appear in the box-O-bolts that you see listed some times as the leftover misc. stuff that is remaining after a complete frame teardown. At times you can find some bargain priced items in those leftover scraps.

Recently I noticed a tool tray (airbox top) go for around $35.00, which I thought was a real bargain from the one that the lister on Crack Cocaine was asking $500.00 for. Again if you can be patient you'll eventually find what you are after.

On the front brake switch, I have found those new from the dealership, check to see if they can still get it. Sometimes the factory items can be cheaper thatn Steal Bay.

Fuse boxes can be hard to find, at least ones that have not be hacked into (Like yours was) and some can be very corroded, so read carefully on the return policy of the lister.

Regards.

Todd.

I've been caught once with those switches, got one on e-bay for the clutch safety switch, you have to pull in the clutch lever to start the bike (didn't plug in the wires, just wanted to fill the hole and look original), they said it was for the z13, looked good in the photo, just too small for the hole, wouldn't clip in, found a proper one in Germany, also got a toolbox tray from England, made of fiberglass, but fits perfectly and looks the part. Fusebox I found in the states, mine had broken tabs and was cable tied onto the frame, it was a used part, came with a good cover also, but cleaned up well, just have to search and cross your fingers.
after tuesday even the calendar goes WTF

Quick question- are the front brake switch and the starter safety switch (on the clutch lever) the same thing? Can they interchange? I don't have a chance to check part numbers, but here's my thinking- I'm seeing quite a few lever assemblies that still have the switches in them, and clutch levers are cheaper than master cylinders.
