Hey, I'm looking for a decent condition seat pan to build a second seat with. My original looks great, but the foam doesn't offer the support it should. I'd like to store the original seat and have something more supportive built up from another seat pan.

I'm not sure if there were changes across years, but the pan needs to fit a '79. Some surface rust is fine, but the pan should be generally solid. I'd buy the whole seat if necessary, but it'll be cheaper to ship just the pan, especially if it's coming from a long way away.

According to Partzilla, your seat was used on 1979-1982 A models.

This seller is "Bob The Seat". I had Bob build me a complete seat. Fiberglass base, all new with rubber bumpers, strap and buckles. Very happy with it. Shipping from UK to USA is not cheap. He will sell any parts you need.
