Anyone has a spare not wanted plate that I could use to weld it to a piece of metal to create a tool to remove the all clutch basket assembly? Just like the manual suggest, the tool, but it can be done so much cheaper even riveting a plate.

It's been a very long time since I've done this on a 1300 so can't remember exactly but is a basket holder tool really required? On lots of other bikes, a penny lodged between the clutch basket ring gear and it's mate usually works nicely without any damage.
