Now, finally, the last race of the year, Valencia, Espana. NO chance of a championship this year, but, we learned quite a lot. Can't wait for this weekend to be over and done.

FIM has figured out, yet again, how to make the whole thing even more torture, 2018 schedule has not the 18 races of this year, but, added another, in a place fully referred to as another mosquito infested inferno.

Me? I am rooting for the Italian bike, and rider, for champion. It will be a miracle if the Spaniard doesn't T-Bone somebody.

Folger is more than likely out of motorcycle racing. He has a disease that isn't curable, won't kill him, but, he is done getting excited while doing things. Zarco, MotoGP class Rookie of the Year.

Either one of these guys will make worthy world champions that is for sure . They represent the sport very well . But I think history will show that the talent of Marquesz will go down as one of the greatest ever. Many have marvelled at his talent - watch some of these saves of this difficult Honda.

Should Dovi' do the trick, it would be sweet, in that some years ago, Honda literally fired him for being unworthy to be Dani's team mate.

Just goes to show, you can't get what you wish for all the time. It was extremely nauseating just after the race....AGAIN.

Sorry for Dovi, but it was a big ask - pleased for Dani, and Zarco though: I've been following the sport for decades and think the "flipping Frenchman" might be the best rookie Ive seen since Vale, Marquez and Fast Freddie (all those years ago).

Re logistics; as well as Thailand from next year, I read somewhere read that Dorna wanted Finland to be on the calendar from 2020. ?

Well, Lorenzo loses the front and crashes , Marquez does the same and gets the bike back up on it's wheels ,defying all the laws of physics while doing it -Dovi runs off into the gravel and topples over , Marquez does the same and stays upright. A great end to a great season , and the best man did win.
