The engine stand is a K&L. I purchased it from Dennis Kirk years ago. I was going to give you a link, but apparently, it's no longer available from them. If you do an internet search, there are several places where it is available online.

A few years ago on the Kawasixes forum there was a major engine failure after about 500 miles after the owner had replaced his rubber idler wheel.
This is the post from frankenbike, March 21 ,2012

"Someone asked why my new roller from across the pond failed. It looked like the bearing was dragging slightly, and the chain just ate the roller. It was worn down evenly all the way around. Either the rubber was just too soft, or it was dragging on the chain just enough to eat the rubber, but still turn. I just dug out my best old one, and haven't had a problem yet with over 5,000 miles so far. Before someone asks, I'm running the ZX-10 tensioner.

I was wondering if anyone else has had such a problem as I may have to change mine when I install the big bore kit.
The conversation on this thread so far would indicate no such problems.

I've seen it come up before in other forums due to the tensioner applying too much pressure to the roller and the roller getting eaten up at a much faster rate. They did a write-up on it and the solution was to cut 10mm off of the zx tensioner's spring to reduce the pressure. I'm sure the article can be found easily enough with a google search :).

The fact that other people don't have issues with it makes me wonder if the upgraded CCT only does that when it's used on a bike with a cam chain that has not seen any wear and hasn't lengthened itself over time from regular use of the bike. Anyone else agree?

Just to clarify my recent post . I was refering to the third photo on the first page of this thread showing a chewed up tensioner wheel and strate6 had asked the question about anyone else having seen this problem before.
I'm not suggesting that I know the answer.
I installed the zx-10 tensioner on my engine some years ago with the shortened spring and it works fine. When I install the big bore kit over the winter I will see if the tensioner wheel has been effected.
