I'm struggling with finding some suitable fiberglass material with which to pack a muffler I'm building. I've tried building insulation and regular glass mat and fabric. Can any of you tell me what I should be using?

TIA

Jim Sether at Taylors Kawasaki (Woodburn) should be able to assist. He's got lots of experience. Friendly guy to do business with.

The ebay item id given is invalid, no result has been sentI've used this stuff in the past, very easy to use & because it's of a sort of knitted construction it doesn't blow out so readily ;) Don't know if you can get it over the pond though?

Can't get it to link, search out 'Acoustafil packing'

Thanks Guys,

I think I need the packing similar to the Acoustafil material that Phil suggested because I need to wrap it around a baffle before I shove it into the muffler itself. I could pay for shipping from the UK and perhaps I will have to. In the meantime I'll keep looking for something in stock in the USA.

Thanks for all your suggestions!
