Looking at selling my B2. I rode it once this year and it's not looking good for me to get out much (kids, other hobbies, other bikes, you know same ol story)

Less than 20k on the bike. Looks are rough, I used it as my winter ride here in PA, USA.

I did the pingle petcock, upgraded the coils/wires, manual CCT. Everything works within reason. Needs throttle cables.

Just looking to what I should be asking without people saying "get real".

Thanks in advance.

Good runners go for about $2,000 to $3,000. If it looks rough as you say probably closer to the $2,000 mark. The touring models sell for less than the naked bikes.

Prices seem to fall hard for non-runners, usually less than 1,000 sometimes just a few hundred buys a very nice looking non-runner. At least in the Midwest might be different out east.

The really nice super clean bikes in top condition can exceed $5,000.

Just my observation over the past several years of e-bay and craigslist, etc.

I was thinking the $2,000 mark would be appropriate. It's in my profile picture. I'll pull more pictures soon for the sale. It only looks rough because the paint was terrible so it was sprayed with a matte green (looks like tank and kids love it)

This is what I found when surfing CL and Ebay and is my personal observation.

Basket case $300-$500 decent shape- $500-$1500.good runner $1500-$2500, really nice $2500-$2900,Show room $3000 to $5000.Must have titles or it's basically a parts bike ;)You may get dinged for the camo paint when it comes to the price.I would of kept the original paint myself. That's the "patina"Don't you watch American pickers or Chasing Classic Cars? Keep it original. It took almost 30 year to look like that ;)

There was some beer involved in the making of this bike. It's cheap paint though. Will come off without damaging the original paint. It'll come with another front fairing and manual as well.

As far as American pickers go.... they ruined it for everyone else. The prices they negotiate on Television effect us junk collector price negotiating immensely. Now you try to get a deal and the seller will counter with "I saw on TV they got "X" amount of dollars for it...." Needless to say I'm not a fan of the picker shows. Can't find a bike for less than $500 anymore, unless it's a real wreck.
