....So, winter seems to have took over a bit early this year
NOT RIDING means it's time to continue all of those plans ya had in mind during the season !
All I can say is that I'm glad I don't live in Buffalo N.Y. ! here on the other end of lake erie we got a few inches of snow to go along with the bitter cold temps.
I picked up some stainless steel braided lines and am bizy installing them as well as updating the suspension front and rear to new Progressives. I removed everything that had to do with air suspension. The forks are being removed for inspection/repair,and the fork lowers will be black as well as the factory gold on the rims will also be black to keep in theme with the rest of the blacked-out bike.
I have been heating the inside of the garage with kerosene for decades during the winter months, and can't stand the fumes any longer ! sore throat, burning eyes, and headache are gone since I took everything out of one of my cabinets of m/c stuff and installed a wood stove that I just got for a hundred bucks ! Keeps the garage at a cozy 62 degrees and not having to go get 20 bucks worth of kerosene every few days is a win-win 4 me as but for the cost of my labor....I get all the firewood from my property for free. All of the 30 year old fasteners that are rusted and bad in appearance, are either getting replaced or cleaned,a bit AR , I know....but what are ya gonna do ?
So stay warm everyone, and get those six cylinder beauties ready for next season !....tony
