Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and as I'm looking at buying a 1981 KZ1300 in excellent condition, I was hoping some of you more experienced members could give me an idea as to the value of these wonderful machines. Thank you.

The prices for good ones seem to vary hugely. They are worth what somebody will pay for them!

Thank you. I am looking at a very good one that has 53000km and the seller wants $9000 Canadian.

Have you seen any others for sale in Canada , to give you a guide as to whether that price is fair? Is the bike in good stock condition, eg mufflers, seat, paint, engine covers? What about engine condition - compression, unusual noises?

Unfortunately the one I was looking at is no longer for sale however I have found another one that I'm interested in. It is the original 1979 KZ1300 with 33000km on. I have not yet had an opportunity to see it in person but I am told it is in excellent condition, all original except for the exhaust mufflers which are high end replicas. Is CND$8000 on the right ball park?
