TOPIC:

As some of you know I get satisfaction out of welding up large sculptures 5' to 7' tall with which I try to recreate pre-historic cave paintings and petroglyphs. This time I added in some synthetic stucco to try to imitate the stone the petroglyphs are carved into.
This one is a creation based on "She Who Watches"



This one will be set into a pile of rocks so that she appears to be peering over the tumble.

You are a creative one for sure. Very nice. I'm wondering if there's any North American Native in your bloodline ?
So not being one to know all, I decided to "Google" Petroglyphs and low and behold the Petroglyphs Provincial Park in Ontario is about 20 minutes from where I used to live in Bobcaygeon Ontario (which is an hour from where I am now). Now I'm intrigued. I'll definitely have to check that out They have a number of Petroglyphs in the park related to the Ojibwe tribe.

I find it more important to have good hobbies as I get older and the 1300 works well for that purpose especially with this Lockdown carry on we have at the minute here.

Other than that, having 4 adult children with 4 respective partners, 7 Grand Children under 7 years of age and 5 dogs in the family...............aint got much time for anything else these days !
