Last Sunday was a good day hanging around old bikes. I think about 100 classic bikes showed up. Not a huge turn out, but nevertheless eye pleasing event. The event took place at the Trev Deeley Harley Davidson dealership and museum. The indoor museum is worth a visit. Many great old motorcycles there.

The entry was $10, which included lunch and two raffle tickets. I won $25 gift card for Tim Horton's coffee shop, and missed a hundred dollars prize by one digit! Glad to see that my luck hasn't left me!

I was hoping for the bikes being numbered for voting, but that wasn't the case. The bikes were just parked to see and that was it.

There were some true eye catching bikes, but some were there just because they were older. I will let the pictures do the talking, with a few shots which don't show all the bikes but just those which got my attention at the moment walking around.

The 1930's 750 cc Nimbus. Surprisingly very quiet when running.

Maybe the most expensive motorcycle on the block? I think they go for average US $ 150,000, with a perfect 10, where this one is or almost is, for about $220,000.

This is very similar to what I had - a 1956 AJS 500 cc. Except - AJS was waaay nicer! Matchless took over AJS company and they produced many nice bikes, so this is not a great example. I will try to post a photo of the one I had later.
