The other 1300 in my garage has a vetter and the ears, headlight and light bucket are all that have been holding me back.

Will do.

On mine, they left the tubes for the ears on the forks, and cut the ears off. *facepalm*

Which is why I think I could possibly fabricate new "ears" to weld on to the tubes.

Don't know yet, right now my priority is to make the motor run. I am looking forward to having the problem of sourcing a headlight and ears, because it means a lot of other stuff is fixt. B)

I know a man that has lots of Z1300 parts and he will be moving them on soon if he has his way, he wants the corner of his workshop back.
i have a contact number
the only drawback is that you would have to collect, as he cant be bothered with parcelfarce.
hes only down the road from me so might be able to collect for you then you can arrange a courier
wont put his number on an open forum but PM me and you can have it
he is in Hullbridge Essex

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationJust got an update email from Helmut at MCG Z1300 DE in Germany.

They now offer brand new replica headlamp brackets for 145 Euro...........so our friend in the USA on Ebay now does not stand an ice cube in hell of selling his !!!

145 Euro is still a lot of money though.

I used these below & they fit perfectly........& you can easily paint them black.

Ian,

Wish I could get in on that especially if the price is right :).

I'm in the US, though, so if there's anything heavy or hard/expensive to ship it wouldnt be feasible for me :(.

145 euro is still better and if he's making them himself I'm sure that cost accounts for the labor putting it all together :).

I wonder if he listed his stuff on ebay if it would fly off the shelves!
