Holger, Can you post a video clip of your bike so we can hear those pipes?

Pete, wish this would be my bike. The bike actually is owned by Thomas from Aschaffenburg. He is his father Thilo have a lot of time during wintertime to "fix" their bikes.

They both own the ones you can see in my gallery titled Nice & Blue. After Thilo had mounted the ZRX-fuel tank he recently had it converted into a sidecar. Both ofter vary their parts, so I can not guarantee the six-in-six is on.

Pete, I truly believe you've been in that area. I am however not that sure about your relatives. Could be we belong to the same family which would explain our taste for extraordinary bikes ...

PS: Don't know if you had seen the vids on the 40 Year anniversary of the Z1 - the event has also been on the Edersee. It is still a long way to go to the 50th birthday, however that is something you should not miss:
