This has happened to me 4 or 5 times in the last month as well. I think I found my temporary resolve by ticking the "remember me" box. I'm not sure why the system has decided to kick you "off line" in a shorter time. It seems to happen when you're in the middle of a lenghty write up. I'll kick it back to our Adminstrator to have it looked into.

It happened to me just recently after close to 2500 characters. I usually write in notepad then copy-paste for safety. And I always tick the 'keep me signed in' box. This time I forgot it and didn't have the text in my clipboard so I lost it all. I got signed out while writing the message, so I'd like to confirm that this is indeed a pattern.

I stopped using the Remember Me because I thought this was causing the problem. Either way no difference. Thanks for looking into this KB

One more thing before I forget. When answering messages the 'thrash original message' box is checked by default. Sometimes I forget to uncheck it, and whatever I got is gone! I don't know if that's desired for others, but personally for me, I'd rather have as default saving the received message so I can go back to it again later, and if I don't need to I'd just click to thrash it myself.

I'll change the setting for the "trash original message" check box. I'll also try to figure out why the sessions are expiring so quickly.
