Turns out Rob the other NZ site member is only 20 minutes away!
hows that for small world, really nice Bloke we have caught up a few times, mentioned about possibly doing a ride down your ways for the Burt Munroe Memorial next year, should have mine all sorted by then. hes giving me a push to get it going,as im stuck with shoulder problems waiting on surgery so i had shelved it.
I can barley move it let alone much else so he bought his son over and we had a looksie inside and got it fired up.
now just getting over surgery on the arm that went left of field and ill pull my finger out try to do a bit more myself
his bike has inspired me somewhat, hes done a good job of that.

Thanks Dion the new bike is going OK i have been riding it most weekends bit rattly cold but very smooth and quite when hot hasn't used any oil i am going to put the brass floats in it tomorrow. I had a txt from Ted in Melbourne today he is going to list his z1300 for sale im sure its a injected model he wants $11000 aus dollars and has a restorable 1979 for sale as well $15000 for both if you are interested let me know. I am going to burt munroe but ill take my gtr1400 hope you have a speedy recovery with your shoulder i also have a bad shoulder i got taken out of Disney land in a ambulance in 2013 to this day the doctors don't know whats wrong with it and i live with the pain every day .Will love to catch up with you north islanders one day cheers Graham
