The riding season started today in bright sunshine and +9 C. The roads are still full of sand after winter but I just had to do a little run of 25 miles.

Very cool Lare,
I take it that that's a local marina. Yes the weather has broken here on the Left coast on North America as well. I rode last weekend and slid on the gravel several times. Hopefully the Reeks & Recs will get the roads cleaned up soon.

Hi Tim,
Yes the sea is still frozen solid, you could walk on the ice. The roads are dry, early in the spring the problem is the sand on them. Up here we use it to ease winter driving with cars. In two weeks the sand will be cleared off and biking will be safer.
Cheers, Lauri
