Rare event, but today the sun popped out in the UK (temperatures reached a tropical 13C) so decided to pop out for a quick blast on the Zed13. Put 50 miles on the old girl and she ran perfectly; recent dyna coils and last years carb rebuild seemed to improved her a lot :woohoo:
Also, I'm really enjoying the soundack provided from the pipes I bought from Lauri - at about 6k RPM it sounds sublime.

Here she is earlier today by a popular local Canal-side pub / restaurant. The endless troubles she gave me over the previous 12 months seem a distant memory - hope it stays that way.

Cheers Tim

Looking sharp there Mister. Love the new paint. Glad the ol' girl is now putting a smile on your face.

Fabulous paint job; in fact the whole machine looks really sharp. A credit to you. How do you like those wide USA spec handle bars?

Jim, the bars are a spare set of NOS Suzuki GT750 Bars that I had in my garage after a Kettle / Buffalo Resto.
I know its a personal choice, but having ridden many miles on my Kettle I find the lift and pitch of the bars to be really comfortable, so decided to fit a set to my Z13. (I still have the original Z13 bars tucked away somewhere)
Cheers Tim

Hi Tonto,

Thanks for the nice feedback on the sports mufflers! I enjoy them too, on both of my 1300s. :cheer:
