Classic Motorcycle Mechanics magazine here in the UK does a page in every monthly edition, called "Retro Reboot", where a fella called Kar Lee works his magic with the computer & produces a modern rendering of bikes of the past, showing maybe what certain bikes would look like if the manufacturers were producing them today. He's done some brilliant renderings of different bikes, you may have seen them, so a couple of years ago I Emailed them & threw down the gauntlet to do the Z1300, as I think it's a very difficult bike to modify & still look good. I think he's done an excellent job B) The only thing I'd maybe change is the stacked exhaust cans, it only needs the lower one IMO, but that's my personal taste :)

Also like it: if Kawasaki made it I would be seriously tempted.

Not sure why Kawasaki wont tap into its strong heritage: they keep threatening to produce new classic bikes: such as the Z1, but what comes out of Japan is always either something based on a "Transformer", or a bland looking Universal Japanerse Machine.

Beautiful machine. I wish they'd reboot the 13 but it was never popular enough. No doubt the six would easily deliver more than 200 rwhp with some modern adjustments.

Only complaint.... he needs to ditch that rear fender thing. That abomination seems to infect most new bikes for DOT reasons. The one on my ZX12r wasn't quite as nasty but the first thing I did was cut it off. However, it does add to the realism for that same reason.
