It was all going so well: I've been running the bike over the past few days and she's run great - instant start up, settled into smooth tickover and revved cleanly - happy man B)

Today, wheeled her out of the garage (got togged up in my winter bike gear) and she just flaty refuses to fire up ??
She turns over strongly, but just will not fire up

I took 4 spark plugs out expecting them to be flooded but all were dry !! - my carbs have had a full rebuild (and were working fine over the past few days), new fuel hoses and Pingel pet cock fitted. Took drain screw out of bowls and all had fuel in them.
I put 2 gallons of fresh fuel in a week ago when refitting my tank.

Really confused (and annoyed - bit cold but was a lovely day for a blast) with this - maybe my pingel tap is not flowing enough gas ?
Was thinking of refitting my old Kawa Pet Cock tomorrow see what happens -

Am I missing something obvious as am not sure what can have happened overnight ??
Any thoughts appreciated
Cheers Tim

take a plug out and see if you have a spark. check ign switch.
a normal pingle fuel tap is good for 150 hp so plenty of fuel for the Zed.

It's all part of the joys of owning these old beasts.
Have you tried pulling in the clutch when you turn it over, mine has a clutch switch and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I'd go after the Pingel fuel tap. I had 3 of these go south on me on my Kawasaki H2. Everyone of them chewed up the rubber sealing disc between the tap handle and the body. After Pingel gave me 2 sets of rubber sealing discs which failed in less than 3 turns of the tap on/off, they sent me out a new assembly. It failed and they sent me out another assembly. I blame the ethanol in the gas for messing up the rubber seal disc. Never did get it to work properly. That's when I started to investigate the ethanol issue.

Thanks chaps - I will invstigate further tomorrow and report back.
Just a bugger that it's started on the button all week, and then when you decide to go for a ride it "plays possum"
