TOPIC:

I had a day out on the Z today; I rode from Edinburgh up to Glencoe and back. Stopped for petrol at the Green Welly stop, it’s a well known biker’s halt in Tyndrum. The Z was well admired and I left feeling more than a bit chuffed. This is the longest ride I have had on it so far, and it ran like a Swiss watch all the way. So I am well pleased with the way it is progressing. The weather was typically Scottish, dull and cloudy with occasional heavy showers. I took a few photo’s but the weather conditions were not the best.

Awesome pictures. It's always been a life goal of mine to check our your side of the pond. Landscapes like this are why.

After over a year of ownership (and probably at least a year of mine being in pieces scattered throughout the garage), I finally got the chance to get mine on the road, however briefly. Despite not doing any carb settings other than the ones it came with, she runs like a dream. These 1300s can certainly be intoxicating.....
