Eh. I have a Honda Trail 90, and it's probably the funnest bike I own. I can't hate if it's got two wheels.

In the UK bikers tend to nod to each other as they pass in opposite directions - I think it probably dates back to mounted knights in armour etc. but there seems to be an unwritten rule that you don't nod to mopeds or scooters. If I'm feeling generous I might even dip my helmet to the side to a hog rider if the sun is in my eyes

I don't know why we treat mopeds and scooters differently? (when I started writing this I used the term "peds and scooters" but that might be mistaken for something completely different and we don't want to nod to them).

In the old days it may have been because any old fool could ride one (up to 250cc) without taking any sort of driving test but I think all riders have to have taken some kind of driving test before they are allowed out on their own these days.

But well done for stopping to help out.

I will try to adjust my attitude towards all manner of bikers from now on...

My wife refers to my ZZ-R1100 (ZX11) as my "pink bike" (it's RED) or my "put-put" so I guess people shouldn't nod to me.

Doesn't matter what he rides IMHO the guy was probably half human and needed a hand and you gave it Things like this have long gone now days, yrs ago in the transport industry when a truck driver park at the side of the road broken downthere would be a minimum of 2 trucks pull over to help but now days they near run you over and abuse you for being parked where you are
