Ok my friends, I have a confession to make. But before you read any further I beg you not to judge me too harshly. This situation could have happened to any of us, you know how it is. You’re out for a drive in your car, cruising along enjoying the summer sunshine. When out of the blue you can find yourself doing something you know is just not “quite right”
Let me explain further. In Scotland, and I’m sure this is the case in the entire civilised world. It is an unwritten law that as a biker, if ever you happen across a fellow motorcyclist broken down at the side of the road, it is your bound duty to stop and offer any assistance you can. I have been most ably assisted on more than one occasion when the same thing has happened to me.
Yesterday, I stopped to help a guy stuck at the roadside; who as it turned out had simply run out of petrol. He was on two wheels, but not a bike. He was riding an old Lambretta scooter!!
What else could I do? I couldn’t just drive past and leave him there. But he was on a scooter! If any of my Scottish biking friend hear about this I will be the recipient of much pi$$ taking. No more than I deserve I suppose.
He was on a scooter!

I drove him to a petrol station and back, gave him the use of some tools to clean up his spark plug, and I waited to see it started up.
I didn't mind helping him. It was just he was on a scooter

Well done McZed from the sarf of england. I have a few friends that ride scooters and we all do the odd run here and there.
we call them " The ladies with the wind in there Vaginas " we get just as much abuse back i can assure you.
