Looking pretty good there Mister. I see you have discovered the art of polishing the carb bowls and lids. Nice touch. Why so many carb sets at once?
I am a little concerned about mixing up the throttle pistons and carb bodies but that's probably me just being a little bit anal.

There seems to be a lot of trouble associated with setting up the linkages in the throttle shaft and choke shaft and balancing the carbs so I've decided to write up a procedure for accomplishing that aspect of rebuilding the carbs. I hope to have it posted by the week's end.

Thanks Kawaboy! The set I am working on now is for my Z1300. Another set I am rebuilding for a KZ1300 "rat" bike (chopped) that i am converting with a 330 rear and 140 front. This project i am just starting on now, and with all luck have complete by year end. The last set is for another Z that I will start on next year.
By the way, the throttle bodies and relevant slides are marked, although not visible in the pic. Nothing anal with your way of thinking! :)

Well done Craig. A perfect example of how preparation, organization and neatness should look throughout any detailed project. It's the only way to ensure the highest degree of success and to minimize potential issues.
Your pictures bring tears of joy to my eyes. kawboy....shut up ! I know your tearing-up with happiness too with the sight of all those bits and pieces cleaned, polished, bagged and organised. Not to mention the "goody bags" up in the left corner. Glad they made the "Trans-Atlantic" journey !

Keep us all in the loop as you progress and P.M. me any time for any Q & A's you may have regarding your floats. Thanks for the acknowledgement.

damn it..... Now I'm out of kleenex !
